Are Wet Wipes You Can Flush Really Safe

Table of Content

With the improvement of current living standards, many young mothers choose to use baby wipes for their babies.

Especially now that the weather is hot, it is very convenient to take a pack of wet tissues when going out, and it will be clean and cool after wiping. It has become an artifact with a baby, but is this artifact with a baby really safe?

Baby wet wipes are divided into ordinary wet wipes and hand mouth wipes. Ordinary baby wipes are usually used to wipe the baby’s butt, and hand mouth wipes are used to wipe the baby’s mouth and hands.

There are many kinds of baby wet wipes on the market, and the ingredients are very different, some have fragrance, which are all chemical ingredients added. Some wet wipes contain propylene glycol, but as long as it does not exceed the prescribed limit, a small amount of ingestion or skin contact is relatively safe, and there is no need to worry about poisoning under normal use.

But propylene glycol is a bottom poison product, long-term use is not good, and the baby’s skin is more delicate, long-term use will stimulate the baby’s skin allergies and other problems. Therefore, parents should try to minimize the use of such wipes for the baby.

Almost all babies in infancy like to eat their hands. Every time a mother wipes her hands with a wet tissue, the baby will start to eat (or take food with her hands). It hurts.

If you go outside to play occasionally and your baby touches something, it is okay for the parents to wipe their hands if there is no condition.
